Nine-time Anděl Award-winning singer and songwriter Lenka Dusilová has never viewed success as an obligation to stick to the music that made her famous. Rather, she is convincing proof that an artist with mainstream appeal can remain in constant motion toward something new. Over a quarter-century of solo work, she has continually challenged conventional ideas about women artists and their roles. Alongside her work with her band, she has developed a distinctive and powerful style of solo performance, using electric guitars, synthesizers, samplers, and loopers to create sonic landscapes in which improvisation always has its place. Dusilová has recently embarked on a new collaboration: a duo with organist and composer Katta, who hersef describes the church organ as 'the world's oldest synthesizer.'
'Lenka Dusilová has become synonymous with musical quality.'

Although established as a classical music artist, in recent years Katta has focused on writing and performing her own music. Her explorations of the organ’s possibilities reference ambient music, the lineage of cosmic and celestial music, noise, sound-art installations, post-technological experimentation, and the work of avant-garde composers. The vibrating sonic fields she creates are a physical experience: they fill the space, setting it - and the listener's body - trembling. Her vocal and instrumental compositions appear on her solo album Vox organi and on the recent collaborative album Salvatora with producer Carmen Rizzo. But it's her live performances that best showcase the natural transformation that takes place when Katta sits at the organ.
Given each artist's openness and insistence on free self-expression, it was perhaps only a matter of time before they joined forces to create something entirely new.
'Katta belongs on international stages, and her concerts are an impressive audiovisual experience.'

Jedna z nich před časem předskakovala Rolling Stones, druhá nahrála varhanní skladby Bacha a Messiaena.
